Ayurvedic face oils for your night-time ritual: Kumkumadi Tailam with saffron and sandalwood, plus pure essential oils to blend into DIY skin care.

What is Kumkumadi Tailam?

Kumkumadi Tailam is a classical Ayurvedic face oil named after kumkuma (saffron). It traditionally combines saffron with herbs such as sandalwood, manjistha and licorice in a nourishing oil base, and is used at night for radiant-looking skin.

How to use a face oil

  • Cleanse your face and pat dry.
  • Warm 2–3 drops of Kumkumadi Tailam between your fingertips.
  • Press into the skin and massage upwards for 1–2 minutes. Leave overnight.

Essential oils such as Tea Tree Oil must always be diluted before use on skin.
